Peach Blossom Perfection

with Amanda Torres

As a second generation Floridian, I had no idea that we even had peach orchards here. Needless to say, it was such a pleasant surprise when I came across this family owned farm! Established in 1918, this farm has been cared for by five generations of Grahams and has that old Florida charm in every acre. Shooting portraits in this heavenly peach blossom orchard was truly an unforgettable moment.

The sun was just beginning to rise as we traveled down the old dirt road that led to the farm. Dew drops clung gently to the fields, as a thin fog began to lift. The color-streaked skies began to clear and become a beautiful, cloudless blue as we pulled in to the soft pink orcahrd.

It’s hard to tell from these photos (kudos to Amanda for being such an amazing model), but it was absolutely freezing that morning! I believe it was roughly 40 degrees by the time we began to unload everything. But, as you can see, totally worth it.

This was a remarkable experience to say the least, and I absolutely loved working with Mary Graham who welcomes each and every person to the farm with the sweetest smile. I am looking forward to many more sessions exploring everything this lovely property has to offer.
