After personalizing my five samples (which was a total breeze) I was so excited for my items to arrive in the mail! I quickly pulled my personalized items from their safe nesting place within the pocket, and simply stared at the first one like Charlie gazing upon his golden ticket to Wonka’s factory. So beautifully printed, what wonderfully textured paper, just the right weight and feel, it was perfection. Flipping through each one, my smile going from “ooh pretty” to “hello Crest commercial” with each new piece. Seeing all of these memories captured and created into something beautiful made me realize what we have all been missing out on in an all too digital world. The first card you see in the set of individual photos is of my wonderful in laws (or in loves as I prefer to call them) during their Holiday Mini Session with me. This photo perfectly portrays the two of them, and just how crazy about one another they are! My father in law loves vintage cars and motorcycles, and my mother in law loves him enough to encourage his growing collection haha! Sitting in his 60’s Corvette Stingray, I imagine mom blowing him that same kiss over 40 years ago when they were first dating. I just LOVE love, don’t you?? From there you’ll see one of my most memorable sessions to date with the beautiful Chelsea. We shared and captured a truly remarkable moment in her life during her Gender Reveal Session. She graciously allowed me, and ONLY ME, access to her gender test results so that I could get the appropriately colored smoke bombs to surprise her with. The excitement portrayed here is 100% genuine and her first time to find out she is having a baby boy! I’ll have more on her amazing Maternity Journey in a future blog, so stay tuned.
